Armor Bearers

The Armor bearers ministry exists as a ministry to help the Word of the Lord go forth in power and clarity. The Armor bearers are called and anointed to help leadership, the local body and the lost. There are a variety of areas in which we work--ushering, greeting, offering hospitality, tending to personal needs of the Pastor and keeping the building in excellent condition-- so that we can gather in comfort and security and worship the Lord in unity.

We are part of one body and one Spirit. We serve one Lord, share one faith, experience one baptism in Christ. We have one hope of eternal life through Christ Jesus and worship one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. We are one part of a whole body to which we have been called to do works of service so that the whole body of Christ my be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God—and that we would become mature and attain to the whole measure the fullness of Christ.

We have been called to this Armor-bearers ministry and have committed to the following things:

• Continual prayer and petition on behalf of the leadership of this local body of believers.

• Readiness to submit ourselves to training, teaching and mentoring on a regular basis.

• Allowing our testimony of our individual lives to be “read” by those who see us performing our duties in joy and powerful anointing.

• The understanding that this ministry is flexible and bendable, like the limbs of a body, and that assignments are designed for seasons but callings are designed for life.

• Excellence in every task, offense taken at none, and faithfulness to that which we have been called.

We are privileged to work in the Kingdom of God to fulfill His destiny in us, in our church and in our city.
