Job Opening - Director of Music Ministry

The Music Ministry Director will report to the Senior Pastor. This part-time position will direct and oversee the music midweek and weekend services as well as special church events. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passionate relationship with God, will be gifted musically and have experience rehearsing and directing bands and vocalists. Candidate must have the ability to facilitate various styles of music from contemporary and traditional to reggae, rock, urban and hip-hop. Must have the ability to keep people engaged and not merely entertained. Experience managing people, building and leading teams is required.

Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise staff, volunteer music team members and leaders.
• Work with staff as directed to develop musical artists and worship leaders.
• Lead and facilitate volunteer music team growth.
• Work with staff to develop original worship music and other creative recordings
• Other staff duties as required by programming leadership.

Additional Requirements
Candidate must be willing to become a member of Walk of Life Christian Center, Inc.
Candidate must be willing to travel with Senior Pastor as needed.

Salary will be based on a part-time position and commensurate with experience. The position is available immediately.
